We've designed it for use by our staff and customers, but hope it is useful for members of the public, too.

GC provides primary medical care to older adults in Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, and Retirement Communities. Our clinical office is in Hickory, NC. We currently serve clients in Alexander, Caldwell, Catawba, Cleveland, Gaston, Lincoln, and Montgomery Counties.

Our medical group was formed by Physicians who really enjoy working in Long Term Care and Retirement Community settings. We began with an established Family Medicine practice with a Long Term Care component. Our experiences created an understanding of the need for systems to improve medical care for Long Term and Residential based patients. This led us to forming a separate practice with its own dedicated staff. Today we employ three physicians, and four extenders (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants). Building better systems of care is GC's primary purpose.

GC Physicians demonstrate their commitment to improving long term care by their active participation in the American Medical Directors Association (AMDA) and the American Geriatrics Association (AGA). All the physicians on our staff are Board Certified in their Specialty. Areas of specialty include Family Practice, Internal Medicine, and Geriatrics.
